Fresh Med’s Integrative Medicine Initial Consultation
What to Expect
During an integrative medicine consultation, Dr. Graham will assess your individual health needs and listen to your concerns and goals for well-being. Harvard trained and Board certified in Internal and Integrative Medicine, Dr. Graham will offer a professionally guided whole-person approach to your health care: mind, body and spirit. In addition, utilizing his course-work in Mind/Body Medicine, Positive Psychology, Lifestyle Medicine, Culinary Medicine, Botanical, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, you will receive a professionally guided approach that takes into account multiple aspects of your health and lifestyle. As a chef, he will emphasize a “food as medicine” approach. He believes in a “food-first” approach.
The Fresh Med Team
Together, with Julie, the Fresh Med team combines a range of therapies to provide you with an integrative plan, especially beneficial for chronic and complex medical conditions. The team believes in working collaboratively in finding the root cause of health concerns and partners with patients and their primary care providers to determine how best to support the journey to health and wholeness. The first priority during a consultation with Dr. Graham is to understand that each patient is unique—from goals and motivation, to current health status and physiology, to the context leading up to and surrounding your life today. Together, they will identify not only the patient’s challenges, but also their strengths, so we can leverage these to help all patients achieve their individual goals.
FRESH Medicine combines the best of conventional medicine, including medications, comprehensive diagnostic testing, (blood, microbiome, saliva and breath) with evidence-based complementary therapies, Functional Medicine, Positive Psychology, yoga and health coaching (grounded in positive psychology).
