Living to One Hundred

In this workshop Dr. Graham co-founder of FRESH Med NYC and Farewellness will discuss the topic of Living Healthfully to 100. Can a healthy diet and lifestyle impact the aging process? What lessons can we learn from the Blue Zones? Additionally, students will have an opportunity to have a tasty sampling of several plant based dishes to compliment the topic.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Robert Graham, MD, MPH, ABOIM, FACP is a Harvard trained physician, board certified in Internal and Integrative Medicine. He is the creator of Fare Wellness, a culinary medicine program educating mostly doctors about healthy cooking and eating at the Natural Gourmet Institute and created “Victory Greens,” an edible rooftop garden at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Graham received his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hospital. He received a Masters of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health while completing three fellowships in General Internal Medicine, Complementary and Integrative Medical Therapies and Medical Education at Harvard Medical School.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences including TedxManhattan 2015 (Back to Our Roots). He is the co-founder of FRESH Med NYC, an integrative medical model where he is incorporating internal and traditional medicine into the modern healthcare system with an emphasis on a F.R.E.S.H. approach to wellness (Food, Relaxation, Exercise, Sleep and Happiness)
